Here for sale is my Vauxhall insignia country tourer 4×4, I have owned this car for just over 4 years , with out issues. I’am the second owner , it was originally a fire chiefs car based on the isle of white/ Bournemouth area. It as now covered 151,000 mile ,All gearbox oils and drive oils were changed 2 years ago at a vauxhall garage.I’ve done around 35,000 miles in it , and the engine oil as been changed every 5,000 miles by myself. Cambelt etc was changed 2.5 years ago, and due next year as I have all my vehicles with cam belts changed on a 4 year cycle , not the manufacturers mileage. Fuel filter was changed earlier this year just before issue with parking brake, new battery fitted 4 weeks ago , as car been off road/ not used for last 4-5 MTHS. I’ve also had all new wheel bearings fitted and new ABS wheel sensors+ BCM re- programmed in the hope this would cure the hand brake issue to no avail. It obviously needs a new handbrake control module , on for £400 new. But I’ve had to bite the bullet and buy another car as been going on my bike to work, so don’t want to now spend on it. Engine is sound great condition, oil always golden after 5,000 miles., as Qwik drain valve fitted, dog guard , Glove box not fitted back, as had to remove to do BCM module. Needs a clean / dust in side. Does start and drive , but because of issue, ABS, TC, hand brake warning lights are on, Speedo not working, reduced power steering, engine light now and again… All codes relate back to ” no communication with hand brake module”.but hand brake will go on if you hold button for 10secs and release ok. Will need trailering away .Price is firm will take no less for it. For sale again to No show buyer.
