Vauxhall Astra Sri 2.0 Cdti Estate Spares Or Repairs Short Mot Owned for the last 3.5 years been a great family car selling due to new car. The mot expires on 1st June 2026 so only has a few weeks left. The car has some faults and general wear and tear for age and mileage but plenty of life left in it still if you are willing to get it through the mot. Main fault is electronic handbrake started sticking on intermittently caught me out afew times so I leave it in gear now and don’t put it on, it’s flashing electrical fault on dashboard but haven’t had it looked at so no idea what the problem is. It’s due a service and obviously mot, all tyres are legal but may require fronts doing soon, there is slight knocking from passenger side front suspension suspected drop link or arb bushes. Interior is ok no rips or tears in the seats. Bodywork is tired has rust bubbling on arches and on tailgate and chips on roof line above windscreen plus various marks and scratches. Alloys clean up ok but paint is fading and would benefit a refurb, never bothered me really. Has majority of service history, cambelt was done at 100k in 2021 so needs doing next at 200k or 2031 according to Vauxhall dealer. Also had new battery and starter motor last year Like I say it’s been a great family car and very reliable while we’ve had it, it’s the 2.0 160bhp engine so decent power and easily does 50+ mpg on motorway 6 speed manual.
