Vauxhall Astra Mk3 1.6 Arctic – 1998R which makes it a late Mk3’s. Comes with correctly registered V5 and service history. More garage than barn find but here it has sat since 2010 when the owner gave up driving and passed it onto his daughter who found it heavy to drive and so didn’t use it. The lady now wants so sell the house and so the car will loose its storage, hence now being up for sale. It appears to be in remarkably good order under the dirt, with minimal rusting on the rear arches, and good straight bodywork. The interior is tidy and unmarked, with factory tape deck, air conditioning and front electric windows. Looking under the bonnet, no signs of leaks or other issues. It has sat now for 16 years so will need recommissioning. The battery is dead and I would suggest new fluids, belts, etc. The garage is dry, the windows have been left slightly open and the handbrake left off so it was stored correctly. It will however need towing out of the garage and trailering away from Syston in Leicestershire. . Looks to be a fairly straightforward recommissioning for the buyer and a nice useable modern classic when done. Auction will run to the end. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
