This is a 2003 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 16 valve Elegance 5 Door Hatchback. The car is a silver colour. The elegance model is the top of the range model. I have owned the vehicle since 2017 and it is low mileage for it’s year having covered just over 107000 miles. The vehicle has mainly done motorway and dual carriageway driving and very little town work. There is a genuine reason I am selling this vehicle and it has covered less than a 1000 miles since the last MOT. It had a new exhaust system up to the manifold just before the MOT last year, and it has had two new tyres that have covered less than 1500 miles. The vehicle has been serviced by a friend of mine who is a mechanic. The oil & filter have been changed regularly. The interior of the car is in excellent condition with just a small mark on the boot carpet which was there when I purchased the vehicle, it looks as though it’s glue that has been spilt, see photo. The spare wheel has never been used. The car is in good condition for its age, it does have some slight age related wear and tear marks to the bodywork, miner car park dings etc. The main one I have shown in the photo where the front bumper on the passenger side is slightly proud of the front wing, this occurred in a supermarket car park, and happened whilst I was in the shop. The front bumper has a few marks see photo. The air conditioning needs to be regassed/ recharged. The car has not been used very much for the last year and the battery in the remote became flat so I just unlocked the car manually with the key with the lock on the drivers door, which operates the central locking system. I have changed the battery recently in the remote but it doesn’t seem to operate the central locking with the remote. I don’t think it can be much wrong as it worked perfectly up until a few months ago.
