North West Repo Cars — Listing (CSS Tabs, No JS) North West Repo Cars Auction Home FAQ Delivery Estimate Home Welcome to North West Repo Cars auction . We specialise in the location and disposal of finance repossessed vehicles which are not accident damaged or had any insurance claims against them unless specifically listed as such. Most of these cars are collected by us as non-runners, some with a minor and some with major mechanical faults. We will try to identify these faults and describe them as best we can in the listings. All cars are clear of finance at the time of auction and an HPI clearance certificate is available with every car. Most of the cars come with full documentation and any relevant documents we have will be itemised in the listing. Documents that arrive after the sale ends will be forwarded to the buyers regardless of time-scale. These vehicles are not classed as salvage nor had insurance claims against them unless specifically listed as such. All vehicles are sold without reserve and we do not accept buy it now or best price deals. Vehicle Overview You are bidding for a 2018 VAUXHALL INSIGNIA 1.6 TURBO D ECOTEC SRI NAV NON RUNNER/SPARES OR REPAIR with a speedo reading of approximately 44,102 miles. This car was collected by us as a runner. On inspection all the oil/coolant levels are correct, the engine starts on the key, and runs up to temp. We have also driven this car around our compound finding the engine, gearbox, clutch, steering, and brakes all appear to operate and perform as they should. When the engine is is at tick over there is an intermittent rattle from the timing chain (see video). This is common issue with these engines and most commonly caused due to the chain stretching/tensioner issues. The purchaser will need to investigate this fault for themselves. Further investigation is required to determine any faults and engine/engine parts may need repairing/replacing to make good. There is a mileage discrepancy on the vehicles MOT history, it was showing 95,486 miles in March 2021 and then 19,855 miles in January 2022. As such we are selling the vehicle as incorrect miles. Please check prior to bidding. The bodywork is in good condition with a few minor scuffs and dents the worst of which are pictured or circled. Please zoom in for closer inspection. The interior of the vehicle is in good condition and shows no undue signs of wear or tear but would benefit from a valet. This vehicle has had 2 former keepers and we are in possession of a valid MOT expiring 10/12/2026 and the key for the vehicle. The date of first registration was 28/03/2018. The vehicle is fitted with Vauxhall alloy wheels with all of the tyres appearing to be in road legal condition. Collection Collection is strictly by prior arrangement with us and we operate 30 minute time slots, if this is missed you will be given the next available slot and may incur an increased waiting time. We only allow two individuals in our compound at any given time and customers will not be granted access without a high visibility vest. Conditions of Sale All vehicles that run at the time of appraisal are sold as per our usual conditions, they are not available for a road test before or after purchase and are to be valued as non-runners when bidding, they are also to be collected by Transporter, trailer or similar method. Please note that messages sent after business hours will not always be answered until the next working day. All vehicles should be fully paid within 24 hours of purchase and removed from premises within 3 working days. The balance and our bank account details can be confirmed at the main reception desk and payment should be completed by same day bank transfer or cash payment. Payments at time of collection may incur a 1 hour clearance time and the vehicles will not be released until the payment has been confirmed with our accounts department. This vehicle is sold spares/repair as a non-runner and will not be withdrawn from the auction. There is also no buy it now price and the car will be sold at auction to the highest bidder. Please note that the problems stated in the listing are our initial findings only and are meant as a guide for your assistance, other faults might exist, the engine and gearbox might need replacing, dashboard warning lights might be illuminated due to the vehicle standing with a flat batteries or for other reasons, key fobs might not operate or the vehicle could have a chipped blade key, a locking wheel nut key might be missing, the interior trim/chassis/bodywork could have damage or parts missing, brake components/wheel bearings might need replacing, vehicles with dismantled engines may have parts missing, clutch might need replacing, spare wheel might be missing, tyres might not be road legal, vehicles could have had taxi/private hire use. Vehicles may have AdBlue faults or AdBlue waring lights illuminated. All vehicles are sold as non-runners and should be bid on as such.
