2008 Vauxhall Astra 1.4 Club Petrol 5 door. Selling my dependable (3rd) Astra as I’ve purchased an automatic. I don’t really want to sell it but I don’t have the space. Owned by my late grandfather since late 2011 possibly 2012, a retired mechanic, the car lived a pampered life and was regularly looked after by our local family owned and friend garage. Following my grandfathers passing the ownership was transferred to my uncle who barely used the car so although it says 4 owners think of it more like 3. I bought the car last year following my daily driver being written off and carried out the following work: – 4 x NEW Kumho ecowing tyres – New rocker cover gasket – New ignition coil and spark plugs – Full service – Pioneer MVH-S420BT Bluetooth headunit (sounds great even with factory speakers and steering wheel controls work) – New aerial base – Air con regas – Wind deflectors – Brake calipers cleaned and regreased – New exhaust front pipe & gasket – New crank seal – New rear brake discs and pads Since then I have completed another oil service and rotated the wheels (back on front etc), as you can see it flew through the last MOT. We took a trip from Lincolnshire to Bruges in November and it did it effortlessly. Plenty of stamped and handwritten service history as pictured, despite being nearly 20 years old this car has wanted for nothing. There are minor age related marks around the car, some pictured, some hard to picture, aside from those the wheel trims and paint is in great condition. Air con blows lovely and cold. The dash cam pictured is NOT included and will be removed before sale. I will include the original stereo headunit and a Haynes manual. In very light use so mileage may go up slightly.
