For sale is my 2007 Black Vauxhall Astra Energy 1.6 Petrol Manual (3-door hatchback). The car has covered 145,000 miles but still drives exceptionally well. The engine pulls strongly, runs smoothly, and is genuinely impressive for the mileage. It has been regularly serviced throughout its life and has always been run on premium fuel. For sale is my 2007 Black Vauxhall Astra Energy 1.6 Petrol Manual (3-door hatchback). The car has covered 145,000 miles but still drives exceptionally well. The engine pulls strongly, runs smoothly, and is genuinely impressive for the mileage. It has been regularly serviced throughout its life and has always been run on premium fuel. The car has recently had the handbrake professionally repaired along with the brakes, and I have the paperwork to prove the work carried out. It also has a long MOT until 17th March 2027, making it ready to drive away. As with any older car, there are a few things I want to be completely honest about: The passenger door does not lock. This was already an issue when I bought the car, but I haven’t had the time to investigate or repair it. There is a small dent on the boot, but the paint has not cracked. The side skirts have been fitted with glue by a previous owner, so the finish isn’t the tidiest. The original key has snapped but still contains the immobiliser chip. I use the spare key to turn the ignition while holding the original key near it, and the car starts and runs perfectly. A replacement key could be programmed if desired. It could do with a couple of new tyres in the near future. The car has a modified exhaust, so it is louder than standard. If you’re after a sporty, louder sound you’ll probably enjoy it, but it’s worth mentioning if you prefer a quieter car. Despite these minor issues, the car remains reliable, fun to drive, and sounds great. It would make an ideal first car, daily runaround, or project for someone who wants a sporty-looking hatchback at an affordable price. I’m only selling because I’ve recently had a baby and need something bigger. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be parting with it. Viewings are welcome, and I’m happy to answer any questions.
